Giving thanks!

thanksgiving_1It’s a short week. Lots of food, fun and family happening this week. Happy Thanksgiving from GlenRockParent.com folks. If you can make it, attend your children’s holiday plays and events. They do love it. There will likely be a lull in activity during this week but we will return to our regularly scheduled programming next Sunday/Monday.

  • I felt that it probably makes sense to add some things that I'm thankful for this week. So, with no priority given, here are some things I am thankful for when it comes to Glen Rock, NJ and the community:

    - I am thankful for Glen Rock's fantastic school system - so many offerings, activities and so far, some great teachers

    - I am thankful for the Glen Rock parents I've met to date. Nice to see you at the schools, in the subways of NYC and downtown

    - Finally, I'm thankful for this fantastic Fall ('ish) weather we've been having. While I'll be the first to jump into a big pile of snow, not having to shovel it or huddle like a penguin at the train station each morning (so far) has been very welcome.
